Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book a doorstep collection with Charity Clothing Collections, a trading name of Lets Go Recycle LTD ("we", "us", "our"). By ticking the box on the booking form, or by using this website to make a booking, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

We collect used clothes and related items from homes in the North West of England. Proceeds from eligible collections support Wendy's Wish (charity number 1175368) and related charitable work. We are not a charity shop. You do not need to be in when we collect.

2. The service

Collections are free to book where we cover your postcode. Available dates depend on the area. You are responsible for leaving accepted items out on the morning of collection, in bags or as we reasonably request, in a place our team can reach from the street.

We may refuse, rearrange or skip a stop if items are not out, are unsafe to handle, are not accepted, or if access, weather or operational reasons make collection impractical. We will try to contact you using the details you gave us.

3. Your booking

You must give accurate name, address, email and phone details. The booking is for the address you enter. If you need to change or cancel a collection, contact us before the collection morning using the details below.

4. Email, SMS and other contact

When you agree to these terms you agree that we may contact you by telephone, email and SMS (text message) using the details you provide.

That contact includes:

• messages needed to run your booking, such as confirmation, day-before reminders, collection-day updates, missed-collection messages and thank-you messages;
• follow-up messages after a collection, including asking for a review;
• marketing messages about future collections in your area, how to book again, and how donations support Wendy's Wish and related charitable work.

We use specialist third-party providers to send email and SMS on our behalf. Those providers, and how we use your data, are explained in our Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by emailing bookings@charityclothingcollections.co.uk or by following any stop or unsubscribe instructions in the message. You cannot opt out of messages that are necessary to carry out a booking you have already made.

5. Website and bookings

We try to keep dates, coverage and the website accurate. Areas, dates and accepted items can change. The postcode check on the site is the guide to whether we currently collect from you.

6. Liability

The collection is a free service. We are not responsible for items left out that are taken by someone else, damaged by weather, or that we cannot reasonably identify as yours. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the day you book is the version that applies to that booking.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
