Lets Go Recycle LTD
Privacy Policy
Last updated 10 September 2026
This policy explains how Lets Go Recycle LTD, trading as Charity Clothing Collections ("we", "us", "our"), uses personal information when you visit this website or book a collection. It should be read with our Terms of Service.
1. Who is responsible
Lets Go Recycle LTD is the data controller for information collected through this website and our booking process. You can contact us at bookings@charityclothingcollections.co.uk or 07846 717793.
2. Information we collect
When you book, we typically collect:
- name, email address, telephone number and collection address;
- postcode and approximate location used to check coverage;
- collection date, bag estimate and any notes you add;
- records of emails and texts we send about your booking.
When you use the website we also collect technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed, including through advertising and measurement tags described below.
3. How we use it
We use your information to:
- check whether we collect in your area and complete your booking;
- send service emails and SMS: confirmation, reminders, collection updates, missed-stop messages and thank-you messages;
- plan collection routes for our drivers;
- send marketing messages about future collections, rebooking and the charitable impact of donations, as set out in our Terms of Service;
- improve the website, measure advertising, and keep records;
- meet legal and accounting requirements.
We rely on taking steps to enter into and perform your booking, on our legitimate interests in running an efficient collection service and promoting that service to people who have already booked, and on the agreement you give when you tick the box on the booking form.
4. Email and SMS providers
We do not send booking emails and texts from a private inbox. We use established third-party processors:
- Resend sends our emails (booking confirmation, reminders and similar).
- Twilio sends our SMS alerts (confirmation, reminders, thank-you messages and similar).
Those companies only receive the details needed to deliver the message, such as your name, email or mobile number and the message content. They must not use that information for their own marketing.
5. Other third parties
We also use:
- Supabase to store bookings and related records;
- Render to host this website;
- getAddress.io and postcode lookup services to help you enter an address and to check coverage;
- OpenRouteService to plan driving routes for collection days;
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel, to measure and improve ads;
- Google Ads conversion tags to measure bookings that come from our adverts.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where that happens we use providers who offer an appropriate safeguard for UK data, such as a recognised contractual clause.
6. How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as we need them to run collections, handle queries, measure our work and meet legal duties. We then delete or anonymise them. Advertising tags on the website store cookies or similar files for a shorter period set by those platforms.
7. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to certain uses, and to opt out of marketing. Email bookings@charityclothingcollections.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
8. Cookies and ads
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags so we can understand if advertising leads to a booking. Essential cookies needed for the site to work may also be used. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
9. Children
This service is for adults booking a household or organisation collection. We do not knowingly collect data from children to market to them.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
